The HMR Diet stands for Health Management Resources. It is a type of structured program meant to help people to lose weight. This program is meant to give dieters absolutely everything they require to reach their goals.

HMR Diet – The Resources

When you use the HRM Diet to lose weight, you will be provided with the food you’ll be eating as well as access to the assistance of wellness coaches. The idea is to take all the mystery out of weight loss. Instead of trying to prepare the right meals and eat the right portions, the decision is made for you. All you need to do is select which dish you feel like having from among the options.

You are given pre-made foods such as shakes and complete meals. That said, you will still need to purchase a selection of veggies and fruits to complete your nutrition. Your wellness coach and the information provided by the HMR Diet helps you to know which purchases to make.

HMR Diet – The Convenience

Those with an HMR Diet clinic locally are provided with a range of additional resources that can be accessed in person. There are over 200 medical institutions that offer these clinics in the United States. That said, if you don’t have a clinic nearby, then your option will be the “HMR at Home” plan.

You will receive weekly progress charts, an HRM calorie guide, recipe booklets and delivered foods. Many dieters enjoy the fact that they don’t need to count calories or prepare meals when they eat the pre-made meals and shakes.

HMR Diet – The Concept

The premise behind this diet isn’t entirely unique. It is comparable to other options such as NutriSystem or HerbaLife. All the food is shipped to you and there are physical locations where you can visit if there is one local to you.

This makes the program very easy to use. At the same time, it is considerably more expensive than shopping for food at the average local grocery store. Furthermore, the program’s foods, it will require you to eat quite a few processed foods, which isn’t necessarily a good habit to maintain when the goal is to manage weight and health over the longer term.

While following the HRM diet, you will stick to a 3-2-5 format. This means 3 of the brand’s shakes, 2 entrees and 5 total servings of fruits and vegetables.
